All students at Clear Vista in Grades 3-8 will have the opportunity to participate in Track and Field events through their physical education programs.
Students in Grades 3-5 will have two separate Track and Field days. One will be a cross-divisional day at Norm Brown field for students to compete against students from other schools. They will be able to run, throw, and jump in various activities with their friends from across Wetaskiwin. There is also a Track and Field fun day for our Grade 3-5 students in the middle to end of June. This occurs at Clear Vista and is usually a highlight of our year for students and staff.
Students in Grades 6-8 will have a Clear Vista Track and Field day at Norm Brown Field. This usually occurs in May. This is an opportunity for our students to compete against each other and practice participating in various events. Following this event, those students that have qualified (first or second in their event) will be eligible to attend the Leduc and District Athletic Association Track and Field day. These students will compete in their qualified event against students from across WRPS and Black Gold.
