Programs and Services

Clear Vista offers an education program for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.  All students receive instruction in Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education/Health.  Art and Music are also taught to students in Grades 1 to 6.  Junior High students are provided with opportunities to choose from several complementary courses.

The Junior High program includes complementary courses in Practical Arts and Fine Arts.  Courses are offered based on student interest, staff and availability of appropriate facilities.  The Practical Arts area, which includes Industrial Arts and Home Economics, is referred to as Career and Technology Studies.  Other possible courses are Band, Computer Studies and Art.  Band is the only one of these courses offered all year.

Inclusive Education programs are offered to students who require additional assistance in order to be successful in their studies.  A Comprehensive Counselling Program which focuses on the whole child, addressing student needs through proactive and preventative programming is also in place at Clear Vista.
